Launched in 12th grade as a senior high school capstone project, Iskolar ni Simeon was designed as a digital repository for academic works published within General de Jesus College.
Originally built to help centralize and preserve the academic output of our peers, the platform served as both a proof of concept and a fully functioning system during its beta phase. Thanks to your feedback and participation, it became a meaningful part of our academic journey.
Project Sunset Notice
The decision to sunset the project comes down to three main reasons: ongoing costs (including storage, database services, hosting services, and domain fees), lack of active usage or maintenance, and our own growing responsibilities with other college-related projects. As students now focused on different academic paths, we can no longer continue supporting this platform long-term.
- You may still access the platform until January 2026, when the domain expires.
- You may download a copy of your own submitted study from the platform.
After January 2026, the platform will go offline permanently, and all stored data will be deleted.
For Future Maintainers
The original developers are no longer enrolled in General de Jesus College and thus have no legal authority to maintain the service on behalf of the institution.
However, if any department wishes to continue this project, we are open to transferring the source code and full management rights—with appropriate credit retained by the original developers. The code remains open-source and is available on GitHub.
Thank You!
To everyone who tested the platform, submitted papers, and offered feedback—thank you. What began as a capstone project became, to us, a true milestone.
